             Terminación para palabras (adj) de 1 silaba 

               

     Est                                  er           clave = than (q´)

 

                Para palabras de MÁS de 1 silaba se usa antes:

 

    Most                                more

 

 

 

The milk is hot      >       the coffee is hotter than the milk     >      the chocolate is the hottest of the three

 

 

 

• John is taller than Pablo.
• Arthur is shorter than john, but john is taller than Pablo
• John is the tallest of  the three
• Brenda is the prettiest of the class room
• Nancy is more beautiful than Catherine Z Johns. But he is richer than Nancy, Nancy is younger than C.Z.J.  
• a husky tail is longer than a sin censes
• a woman hearing is better than a man´s  
• Richard is not as quiet as Fidel not as adventure 

 

 

~ Usamos los adjetivos comparativos para comparar dos cosas o personas.

~ Frecuentemente usamos después than del adjetivo Comparativo.

~ Podemos también utilizar  NO + AS + ADJ para explicar como 2 personas o cosas son diferentes

~ Cuando tenemos un adjetivo con terminacion consonante se vuelve a repetir la consonante y se agrega la terminación ER para hacer un comparativo o EST para hacer un superlativo.

~ Si termina con “y” se cambia por “i”; pretty – pretties
